Here are some common questions that have been asked by people hiring a DJ. And we will always answer any question that you might have.

When do I hire my DJ?

Dates can fill up quickly, so hire your DJ as soon as possible.

AV-Pro will hold your date with a verbal agreement pending a signed contract and deposit.

Will you be willing to play requests?

Yes we do. This is your special day so we play your requested style of music.

We use our best judgment to play appropriate songs at the right time.

We will even honor a do not play list.

What kinds of music do you have?

We have all different types of music. Top 40, Dance, Urban, Rock, Country, Classics from the 50's to the 90's.

If you have special requests for music, let us know ahead of time so it can be played at your event.

Will the volume be controlled?

Yes. You tell us what level the music needs to be at. You are in control of the volume of the music.

Are wireless microphone available for us to use?

Give your toasts and announcements on our wireless microphones.

A lapel wireless microphone is even available.

There is never an additional charge to go wireless.

Do you use Professional Equipment?

Yes we do. Professional equipment can definitely hold up the rigors of the Mobile DJ.

Peavey, QSC, Stanton, Numark, and American DJ is some of the equipment used by AV-Pro.

Do you have backup equipment?

Backup equipment is always on hand.

How long does it take for you to set-up?

We generally arrive two hours ahead to assure a proper set-up. Usually all is ready to go 20-30 minutes before the scheduled event time.

Larger shows require more time and we will work with you accordingly.

Booking your DJ is confirmed by a written contract.

Is there a deposit required?

A $50 non-refundable deposit fee is required when the contract is signed.

The deposit is part of the total cost of the event.

How do you dress for our event?

You get to choose the outfit for the DJ. Tuxedo, Shirt and Tie, or casual.

If no dress code is given we will use our best judgment to be properly dressed for your occasion.

How many years experience do you have?

We have nearly twenty-two years of professional DJ experience.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Checks, Cash, Cashiers Check, or Money Orders

Do you take breaks?

We do not normally take breaks
